Ti Ara started as something personal. A quiet need to reconnect with myself... my skin, my energy, my voice, and my needs. I created these products during a time when I didn’t feel like myself, when I was overwhelmed, burned out, and trying to hold it all together. What I really needed was a moment to slow down. To remember my body. To care for it without rushing, without performing.
Now, that same intention lives in every jar, bottle, print, and scent Ti Ara offers.
Ti Ara, meaning, “of the body” in Yoruba is a brand rooted in care, ritual, and cultural pride. Our formulas are simple but intentional, made to nourish deeply and help you create moments of stillness and softness in a world that rarely makes space for either. Especially for Black women and men.
We don’t believe in overcomplicating things here. We believe in creating products that feel good, smell good, look good, and do what they’re supposed to do.

Before creating Ti Ara, I served my patients as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, deep in the world of women’s health and pelvic care. I love what I did, but somewhere along the way, I realized I was constantly pouring out and rarely being poured into. My own body was an afterthought. I began suffering from extremely dry, flaky, and irritated skin.
That’s when I started making products just for me. Simple, nourishing things that made me feel more like myself again. Things that not only healed my skin but made me feel grounded, feminine, & held. It gave me the space to make daily rituals out of mundane moments.
Eventually, I realized: I’m not the only one who needs this.
That’s how Ti Ara was born.
This isn’t just a body care brand. It’s a way of remembering who you are. Of creating space to check back in with yourself, even if it’s just for 5 minutes after a shower. It’s about honoring the version of you that exists when nobody’s watching.
My goal is to keep building this into a space that feels like luxury, like care, like culture, like HOME.
